Enjoy a multi-day trek through Ha Giang’s wonderful scenery. With a local guide, you will go through the rice fields and mountains to discover the local fauna and flora. You’ll also visit the hill tribes’ villages at a pace and style that compliments you. Then, you will journey away from the crowds and experience a homestay in a traditional Tay home. There, you will learn and participate in village life and feel the warmth and hospitality of these incredible people. This is an unforgettable relaxed journey to Thon Tha, Ha Giang that should be part of everyone’s time in Vietnam. Ha Giang is a special place with a primitivity like no other.
8 am - your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Giang and take you to your homestay.
8:30 am - your tour guide will pick you up at your homestay to start your trek through terraced rice fields and Tay villages where you will meet and talk with locals working in the fields. Then, trek to Lùng Vai village (inhabited by the Coin Dao people), before visiting an Indigo Dao family. There, you will enjoy a relaxing lunch. The Dao family will warmly welcome you to their traditional home where you will share your culture to others. After that, continue to go trekking to Ha Thanh village where you will see a famous waterfall. You’ll stay overnight at a Tay homestay in which guests will sleep on the floor with a mattress, blanket, mosquito net, separated from other beds with a curtain.
At daybreak, you will see and hear the sounds of morning village life. Join them in some of their activities, like feeding the animals, cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, continue your trek on a valley route up to mountain linking Thon Tha and Khuoi My. Your local guide will tell you some local stories and share the Dao Ao Dai unique culture. The uphill route will be hard because it is quite steep, so bring water. Lunch will be with a local family. Save your energy to go explore around this beautiful village and take photos. You will spend the night at a Thon Tha homestay.
After breakfast, pack your luggage and get ready to continue your adventure. You will go by a car from Thon Tha to Cao Bo, then start your hiking from here. Your tour guide will bring you to a special place where Coin Dao people plant herbal medicines and spices. After, you will stop for a lunch then visit a local tea factory to learn more about tea making techniques from Vietnam.
In the afternoon, your English tour guide will escort you to Lung Tao and Thac Hung villages where you can see how the Coin Dao people can make handmade silver necklaces, bracelets. Lunch will be with a local family. Enjoy an afternoon of exploring. You will spend the night with a Coin Dao family. Sleep on their floor prepared with a mattress, warm blankets, mosquito net, pillows. Be sure to bring your own towel, toothbrush, and toothpaste.
Start your day early. Enjoy a special trek to a tea forest in a nature preserve. Take in the stunning views as you dine on a picnic lunch. Then, you’ll go by car from Cao Bo village to Thon Tha village where you will have dinner before being back to Hanoi.
NOTE: Bring your raincoat even no rain and wear good shoes. Have insect repellent on hand. Be careful of leeches.

The organization will just arrange the transportation for the visitors. It will take around 7-8 hours from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Upon the visitors' arrival time, the driver will wait for them at HA GIANG bus station to pick them up to their homestay in Thon Tha for relaxing before starting the tour.
