KOTO is a social enterprise that aims to improve the quality of life for street and disadvantaged youths by providing them opportunities for skill development and empowerment.
Tour revenue will be invested in the KOTO Foundation, which provides underserved youth in Hanoi and Saigon with a 2-year hospitality training program that equips them with a wide range of professional capacities and social skills.

Become a part of cooking classes designed for all those interested in discovering the secrets of the Vietnamese cuisine. Vietnamese food is not only healthy but also very tasty and refined. Learn to use herbs and spices wisely, designing dishes that will be a real delight for foodies. If you choose to take a morning class, you have the opportunity to join a chef in a tour of the local market to choose the ingredients for the cooking class! This is a chance to really discover what the food of Vietnam is all about.
In these cooking classes, you can experience a hands-on approach as participants are guided through all the steps needed to create items off of a typical Vietnamese menu. These items not only taste delicious, but are also visually pleasing. Imagine how you could surprise your dinner guests next time with an aesthetically perfect Vietnamese meal! Learn to prepare dishes of choice from our menus, such as spring rolls, Pho-soup, seafood dishes or Vietnamese desserts, guided by our professional English speaking personnel.

The KOTO cooking class in Hanoi was as delicious as the food in the restaurant itself! It was highly organised and professional. The selected dishes were must have’s in your recipe book and perfectly capture the essence of the Vietnamese cuisine. The class was diverse in offering knowledge about the foods, skills in preparation, helpful tips and hints and more importantly - time to taste and eat! It catered well to allergies and dietary requirements by altering some of its dishes to better suit some of us (yet still maintained their delectability!). I was highly impressed with the class, its management, arrangement and affordability. KOTO was a great highlight during my time in Hanoi, Vietnam and I would recommend the cooking class to anyone that loves fabulous Vietnamese food or is after some kitchen fun!
