NAMAC (National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture) believes in a world where media artists and organizations are essential and undeniable leaders in a thriving global community.
To facilitate collaboration, strategic growth, innovation, and cultural impact in the media arts field.
Arts Leadership - programs that support and develop new creative thinkers and arts leaders. For the last 16 years, the NAMAC National Leadership Institute has successfully developed and encouraged visionary, intergenerational leadership in the arts.
New Artist Residency programs and a companion Impact Fund will support collaborations between artists, technologists, and community organizations.
The Media Policy Hub will aggregate the most current media policy news, research, legislation, and campaigns. NAMAC advocates for its members and the independent media field by partnering with other national advocacy groups working on a wide range of cultural, intellectual property, and telecommunications policy issues.
A Video Roundtable - a group conversation (like a Google Hangout with better production values!) hosted by NAMAC on the zoom.us platform. You sign up to receive an invitation, and on the day and time of the Roundtable, just log into the URL provided. These conversations are intended to build the network, share breakout ideas, work through collective challenges, and discover opportunities for collaboration.
