A friend and I joined 4 other people in Jeannette's kitchen in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where she shared the preparation of wonderful classic Lebanese dishes. Additionally she had prepared other dishes for our enjoyment. She shared stories of her family and her experiences in NYC. She shared ours. We spent such a lovely afternoon. We were all enriched by the experience - food and company. It is a 5 star adventure.

This workshop was absolutely fantastic! I got to know a whole other side of New York City, as well as Uzbek culture, food, customs and traditions etc in a very enjoyable six hours. I would encourage all NYC residents and travelers to dig deeper into the heart of the city and find out what makes it great- which is organizations like League of Kitchens that helps travelers immerse in communities like I got to do. A must-do in NYC!
