Tour Description

Bring your team together for a custom dance lesson. You can choose one type of dance from a dozen options. Dance classes are available for all levels of movement, knowledge, and background, ranging from beginner to more advanced. Styles offered include the following:

Modern Jive: With roots in disco, this is a simple and attractive way to dance to virtually any music with ease!
Level: Beginner

Rockabilly: Try your hand at the original 1950’s partner dance style, which originated in the Southern United States.
Level: Beginners – Intermediate – Advanced

Acrobatic Dancing: Enjoy this circus-inspired dance style, where you will learn fun routines incorporating jumps and flips.
Level: Beginners – Intermediate

Swing: Learn one of the most classic couples dance styles in history.
Level: Beginners – Intermediate

Latin Ballroom: Take a trip to a ballroom in Latin America with this social couples-based dance style that incorporates popular music. Sub-styles will include Rumba, Cha cha, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Salsa, and the Quickstep.

Regency: Feel like you are taking part in a Napoleonic Ball as you learn this 19th century set dance.

Argentine Tango: Channel sensuality as you learn how to dance freestyle to Argentine Tango music. Free-expression and dramatic interpretation is the key to this theatrical, performance-driven dance.

Line Dance: Dance on line with your co-workers as you move together to a variety of music.

Zydeco: Learn about Cajun history and culture as you immerse yourself in Zydeco, which was originally developed in Louisiana.

Scottish Barn Dance: Coordinate with your peers during this traditional folk dance, which was historically practiced in barns.

Sequence Dancing: Channel some serious team coordination as you become acquainted with this ballroom style that requires dancers to execute a fixed sequence of steps, all commencing and finishing at the same time.

Many buses.
Close, in case people want to move on, to the South Bank (National Theatre, Ballet Rambert, Royal Festival Hall etc) Imperial War Museum, Tate Modern, or House of Commons, Trafalgar Square. All walking distance. Old Vic is across the road. Young Vic very near.
