Enjoy lush landscapes and the cool climate of the Kloto region as you embark on an incredible excursion exploring the ties that bind people to their environment. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, take off on a morning hike (about 3 hours) and discover the secret benefits of medicinal and traditional plants. When you reach the top, take in magnificent panoramas from the summit of Mount Kloto.
Next, take a break for lunch in the home of a local community member. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in a traditional village life as you learn about the daily lives of the local people and gain insight into ADETOP’s projects here. This tour is the perfect blend of hiking and local life while discovering the wealth of Togolese diversity.
The tour was very immersive as we started the tour in a rural village, near the Mount Kloto. On the way, we could appreciate nice views of Kpalime, this green, and wonderful region. In the village, I was happy to learn more about the biodiversity, especially species using in the art (plants for red, orange, green color). We met a nice artist, painting with these species, 100% eco-friendly! Then we hiked until Mount Kloto. The guide was very friendly, talk active, warm, and welcoming. He knew what he was talking about, very serious, and attractive speech. All the staff is very professional and well organized (time, transport, visits, knowledge...). I can't wait to go there as soon as I come back to Togo.
