Experience the natural beauty of rural Thailand with local farmers! The Kalos Funds provides an immersive tour beginning with a hike through the Khao Nan National Park. Enjoy the vibrant, aromatic flora and the fresh air of the Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Locals are proud of the minimal impact they have had on the ozone layer, contributing to a near perfect state of ecology. Bask in the warm sun at the Sunantha Waterfall and enjoy the pristine water. Locals make tea from the waterfall, citing the healing effects of the water, so enjoy a fresh cup of herbal tea after sunbathing.
Then, visit a working cacao farm and experience the chocolate industry with actual farmers. Learn the various ways to cook chocolate and sample some for yourself! Familiarize yourself with the locals and learn about the culture of agriculture in rural Thailand. There is also an optional excursion to visit a Buddhist temple and museum that houses lush gardens.
