Tour Description

Visit coffee and banana plantations owned by local people. Interact with families producing local brew by using finger millet and banana. Hike to the Lodemi waterfalls; one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the slopes of Mount Meru (one-hour hike). Taste home-cooked traditional lunch at Matunda Cultural Tourism home base, and try our freshly made coffee. The coffee is locally grown and will be processed in front of you; from the newly picked beans to your coffee cup.

Tour price includes breakfast, lunch, and roundtrip transportation.

How To Get There

Peace Matunda is located on the Moshi-Arusha Road about 14 km from the center of Arusha Town. At the junction called Sangisi (before you reach Tengeru when coming from Arusha), opposite of NatOil Petrolstation, you will see the signboard. You will have to take a rough road to Mount Meru for 6 km. There are signboards all the way to Peace Matunda.
