Tour Description

Dive into the vibrant world of Madrid’s street art scene with COOLTOURSPAIN’s artist-guided tour of the city’s best graffiti and street art.

Visit the Museo La Neomudéjar, which blurs the line between art venue and artwork with its blend of graffiti and other exhibits offered by a rotating selection of artists.

Explore the murals of La Tabacalera, a revitalized tobacco factory in the heart of the Lavapiés district that has been given a second life as a multicultural arts center.

Experience El Campo de Cebada, a once abandoned development site transformed into a plaza in which local community members host open-air movie screenings, festivals, concerts, and educational debates in the midst of some of the city’s most riveting street art. In the summer, these events are often hemmed by portable public gardens and even a sea of inflatable swimming pools.

I've always thought that travels and luck use the same path. After being in Madrid several times, I was looking for something different, that I have never seen before. Then, I was so lucky to find the StreetArt Tour at CoolTourSpain. Javier was not only an amazing host, like most of the Spanish people, but also a real Madridlenian guy who knows his city and his country and can tell you a lot about art, politics, social dynamics, cultural behaviors. I'm not an artist, not a graphic designer, but enjoyed every moment of the tour. 100% recommended.
