We loved it. It was inspiring, sweaty, emotional, smelly, and intimate. We really felt like part of the Badalona group, they were very welcoming and patient.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Castellers de Badalona. Our host was amazing with his explanation of the history of the Castellers and the methods used to make the human towers. He was very willing to ask questions we had. My husband and my son also had an opportunity to participate in the formation of a human tower (it was a little too hot for me to want so much close physical contact with others) and this gave them a real appreciation of the strength and support provided at the base for the climbers. Also, the sense of community and cooperation amongst the participants was heartwarming and the members of the community were very welcoming.
