Start your visit by meeting your host family and sharing a traditional Peruvian lunch prepared by village natives. After the meal, you’ll learn about day-to-day life on the farm. Depending on the needs of your host family and the time of year of your visit, you will participate in a range of hands-on activities such as field work, wool harvesting, craftwork, and gathering resources. Your host family will dress you in traditional clothing in order to give you a fully immersive experience while discovering daily life in Sibayo. Then, explore the village by Llama Taxi before taking a guided walking tour through its most impressive landmarks, including the church, suspension bridge, and scenic Mirador de Largarta. Afterwards, visit the Ecomuseum and learn how to weave crafts out of alpaca wool and other materials. Wind down your evening back in the village with a home-cooked dinner prepared by your host family and a night of drinking and dancing with the locals. After spending the night, enjoy breakfast with your host family before saying goodbye to Sibayo.
