Discover the tastes, traditions, and hidden secrets of the past and present in Milan! Today it is difficult to read the traces of the development of the city: the old canals are hidden under the busy streets, buildings and squares have different functions and the street names are updated. Food arrives in ways invisible to our eyes, is stored in unknown places, and leaves the supermarket via underground parking lots. However, those who look with attention to the city’s layout will discover some signs of the past, in which food production, transportation, and transformation had an incredible cultural and social value, which is worth bringing to life again. Walk through the city center and relive history with stories, images, delicious smells, and tasting experiences. Experience the work of ten food-related entrepreneurs and learn about their special commitment to the local food tradition and sustainable approaches. Explore past and present locations where food was the star of Milan’s street life. The tour can be personalized with workshops, lectures, lunches, aperitifs, and dinners.
Beautiful shops that are still family owned and demonstrate their passion to their clients.
Great way to be introduced in the city and get to know the contest of typical dishes.
