What you’ll do

So far this year, this food pantry in Forest Hills, Queens has distributed over 17,000 meals to seniors and over 100,000 pounds of food to people of all ages. During this impactful volunteer experience, your team will help stock shelves, assemble packages of food and supplies, and assist with enrolling new low-income families into the organization’s system. Get your team together for a meaningful opportunity to learn about food pantries and food insecurity in Queens while supporting an organization helping thousands of people in need. Volunteers should dress comfortably and wear clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty.
