What you’ll do

Middle school and High school can be challenging. Help make it inviting and enjoyable by volunteering with Paint Club, The organization's gateway initiative, which transforms drab and dreary New York City public schools throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, into warm and invigorating environments. Using the power of color, design, and the affordable medium of paint, help beautify public spaces while collaborating and positively influencing local students. While painting the schools and community sites, you will be matched with students for casual/informal mentoring, while you both paint! The student will teach you how to professionally paint, and you will teach the student why it’s important to stay in school. The students are very inquisitive and curious. They will ask about what you do, and the education it takes to be successful. Here’s your chance to give back in a MOST meaningful way!
