What you’ll do

During this time of quarantine, domestic violence cases are rising, crisis hotlines are seeing an increase in volume, and centers are at capacity. Movement restrictions aimed to stop the spread of the coronavirus are making violence in homes more frequent, more severe, and more dangerous.

In order to continue bringing the healing practice of yoga to survivors at this time when they are particularly vulnerable, this organization has brought its trauma-informed classes online. You can support their critical work while also providing a valuable resource to your team by offering an online personal wellbeing workshop.

Now more than ever it’s important for your employees to discover rituals that will support their mental and physical wellbeing. In this interactive workshop, they’ll explore how to respond to stressors with self-care in mind and develop practices that start small and generate lasting success. The online session will address the unique needs of your team during this time by providing practical and specified self-care tools to weave into personal and professional everyday life.

The workshop will include:

  • A chair yoga practice
  • A self-reflection exercise to identify signs of burnout
  • A review of the importance of taking time to invest in our wellbeing, both personal and professional
  • An interactive discussion about what it looks like to invest in our wellbeing.

Attendees will leave with an accessible list of actionable ways to improve their wellbeing on a daily basis.
