Each of the 300,000+ care packages this organization sends every year to deployed troops, veterans, wounded heroes, caregivers, and first responders contains a bundle of letters from the American people thanking them for their service to our country. Recipients often say that these letters, notes, and drawings are the most cherished items in their packages. Your team can show your support by writing personal letters of gratitude that will warm hearts and lift spirits. During the activity, a member of the nonprofit can make it even more meaningful by joining via video conference to share more about the impact of your letters. You’re welcome to use colored pencils, markers, pens, thank you cards, branded stationery, lined paper, or plain white printing paper. It’s not about the stationery--it’s the messages that are written that mean so much!
