What you’ll do

Every year, this non-profit holds virtual speaker series that is open and accessible to all. The series features incredible speakers who have overcome obstacles, identified opportunities, and reached career success. The talks promote the narratives of diverse professionals rising to success from their schooling days to their careers, with the intention of empowering young immigrants to succeed in their own right.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the viewership of this speaker series has grown exponentially, signaling that these curated talks address the needs of a critically vulnerable population during their time of need.

For this experience, you will have the opportunity to become one of the speakers in the series! You will share your story through a one-hour webinar, and the non-profit’s team will be available to support you in the development of your narrative and presentation. The non-profit understand the needs of their audience, and they can help you strategize your storytelling. Their support will lead up to the day of the event, when you will have a live webinar with their young participants. Later, a recording of the webinar will be shared with their school networks and communities.
