What you’ll do
You have been invited to the table for a taste of culture. Diaspora dinners create a space where people are encouraged to think openly about diaspora communities through foods. A team composed of an established chef and a culinary historian collaborate to create a dinner that immerses you, the attendee, in culinary storytelling. The full-service dinner (yes, wine is included) will feature a creatively developed menu reflective of the diaspora community discussed. This experience provides a platform for artists and historians from communities to come together to create an innovative experience to engage with interested and curious attendees to inspire in dialogue over dinner.
