For this experience, this organization brings together three artists of color -- who identify as women, or other marginalized genders -- to share original monologues, poems, stories, song, and dance. You and your team will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique performance from each of the three artists from the organization to celebrate diversity and authentic representation.
After the performance, you and your colleagues will engage in an audience talkback to discuss the nonprofit’s artistry, relevant social issues, and diversity in the workplace. You can ask the artists any questions you might have about their organization, work, and the importance of diversity and authentic representation.
The event will begin with an introduction to the nonprofit followed by the live performances of the 3 artists of color. This is followed by a Q&A session with the performers and will wrap up with closing remarks.
The agenda for this experience is as follows:
- While You Wait (2 minutes)
- Introduction to Nonprofit (3 minutes)
- Live Performances (35 minutes)
- Performer Q&A (15 minutes)
- Closing (5 minutes)
