This is an opportunity for someone who knows the fundamentals of product management and wants to contribute their skills to making a positive impact in NYC and around the world. Responsibilities
• Manage the full product life-cycle, from research and design through development and release
• Act as product expert/champion when engaging with other business areas
• Own aligning our business strategy and metrics with our product development efforts and lead product development team from design through successful rollout
• Leverage data and collaborate with clients as well as engineering, sales, and marketing team to synthesize feedback, define product direction, and create go-to-market strategies
• Measure the success of features after release and optimize their performance through rapid, data-driven and customer informed iteration
• Pitch in with anything and everything related to building new products

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a product role, preferably in a B2B SaaS tech company
• Experience using data to drive decision making
• Experience crafting product requirements and specifications
• Understanding of UI/UX design concepts and principle
• Ability to talk tech and understand databases
• Desire to grow and be part of a team
• Strong product sense and deep understanding of what makes products effective
• Ability to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member
• Self-motivated and willing to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Visit.org is looking for a hungry, ambitious B2B sales manager to lead corporate sales in New York City. Visit.org is a SaaS platform that helps companies easily integrate social responsibility into their office day-to-day culture through unique team events led by and benefitting local social ventures. The product was recently launched with strong initial traction. The sales representative will work with the leadership team to strategize, implement, and test different sales approaches.

Must be extremely passionate about building things from scratch, including platforms, teams, apps, and features.

Responsibilities
• Work with the product team to develop an MVP platform
• Work with senior leadership to develop strategies for product design, functionality, release, and modular development
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications, and architect solutions with high performance
• Identify and analyze security risks, and adapt policies and procedures to mitigate them
• Work in a Rapid Application Development lifecycle with high velocity and multiple sprints
• Manage and maintain test driven development and continuous integration tools

Qualifications
• Excellent knowledge and work experience in designing and developing complex software applications
• Highly experienced in popular server technology (Ruby on Rails, Heroku/AWS)
• Experienced in n-tier design, separating presentation layer, business logic layer and data access layer
• Experienced with front end development with Coffeescript, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
• Proven experience in building websites
• Experience with pgSQL server is required

Timeline & Commitment

Job Description
The Head Developer's role is to assure the successful execution of visit.org’s business and social mission through development and deployment of our web and app presence. This requires envisioning visit.org’s service offerings as a web and mobile business, leading implementation of applications, and planning for risk and growth.

You will lead the design and development of our company’s software applications. In-depth knowledge and experience on application software development are required. Excellent design patterns and object oriented programming methodology must be employed. This is an opportunity to drive the design and architecture of an application in a disruptive early-stage technology company focused on facilitating booking to tens of thousands of local nonprofits. The ideal candidate will have experience bringing products to market and building scalable applications using agile methodologies. Essential job responsibilities will include the following. Other duties may be assigned as well.

Responsibilities
