Visit.org is looking for a hungry, ambitious Enterprise Sales Executive to join our team in New York. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and a track record of success in the B2B enterprise software space. In this role, you will build relationships, foster prospects, nurture the pipeline, and sell Visit.org’s SaaS solutions to enterprise clients. The Enterprise Sales Executive will work closely with the leadership team to strategize, implement, and test different sales approaches. The ideal candidate is motivated by and thrives in an autonomous environment, taking ownership of the sales process - from prospecting to process to closing deals.

This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional to be a key contributor to the growth of a mission-driven startup and help companies make a greater impact nationally and around the world.

Responsibilities:
• Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure: foster prospects; build relationships; cultivate a consultative sales approach; manage the sales process through responsive, proactive, and client-focused communication and client management
• Provide consultative selling and recommendations to increase the quality of product and service provided to clients, as well as company offerings and capabilities: act and think like a market expert
• Help expand our sales pipeline and optimize our sales process
• Help establish short-term results and long-term strategy
• Grow new business for both established clients and new targeted sectors and clients
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Visit.org platform, industry trends, and competition

Qualifications:
• 7+ years’ professional experience in B2B sales or other relevant experience
• Self-motivated and can hit the ground running in prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects
• Experience selling to HR is a plus
• Knows how to take a new product to market and build out sales operations and processes
• Proven track record of revenue growth achievement
• Creative thinker; comfortable with ambiguity and an environment of constant experimentation and learning
• Ability to gain access to and engage credibly with decision-makers in top companies
• Familiar with and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Visit.org is looking for an intelligent, ambitious front-end developer to join our team. Visit.org is a platform that helps companies easily integrate social responsibility into their culture through unique team events powered by local nonprofits and social ventures. The product was launched recently with very strong traction. We’re a startup, so the right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for our mission, and of course, the desire to roll up your sleeves and make the impossible happen.

The front-end developer will bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will need strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with product, designers, developers, and external stakeholders—and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Role and responsibilities:
• Develop functional and appealing web-based applications based on usability
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Maintain high-quality graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
• Monitor application performance, identify usability problems and rectify the issues
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Create quality prototypes on tight timelines

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• 5+ years’ front-end web development experience required
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails applications
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Experience implementing responsive and mobile UI’s
• Strong understanding of layout aesthetics
• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging techniques

• Experience working as a designer
• Experience writing and running automated tests, or performing manual QA & UAT
• Experience building SaaS platforms

Visit.org is looking for a passionate, self-motivated marketing intern to join our team in New York City.

Role and responsibilities:
• Design, present and implement new marketing and social media campaign ideas
• Support research, production, and promotion of the Visit.org podcast
• Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
• Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to come up with new and innovative strategies and ideas

Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms
• Experience with copywriting, editing, and blogging
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
• Experience with SEO and copyediting is a plus
• Desire to gain experience in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing different hats as needed
• Self-starter who can take direction and contribute ideas
• Passionate about social good and empowering local communities

What do we offer?
This internship is unpaid. We highly encourage students who can receive academic credit to apply. You will gain experience in writing web content, SEO, and the operations of a startup while making a positive impact on communities around the world. We are based in a co-working space in Tribeca.
