We are looking for a London-based self-starter who is bright and energetic to join our team as London City Leader.

The right candidate:
• Is excited about innovation in the global social sector
• Is familiar with the London nonprofit sector and wants to get to know it even better
• Is flexible, resourceful, and enthusiastic about being part of an entrepreneurial team
• Sees the potential in nonprofit visits to (1) enhance local economic and social development in
the country and (2) create a better informed public discussion about the world’s most pressing needs
• Has good writing and communication skills in English
• Experience with social media is a plus

What will you do?
• Be our representative in London
• Find community-based and nonprofit organizations in London and the UK that can offer visits to the general public, introducing and onboarding them to Visit.org and offering guidance and support in developing experiences when needed
• Offer support if needed to confirm bookings
• Make sure organizations' visit.org profiles are always up-to-date by visiting and vetting experiences regularly
• Make any content suggestions for our blog or social media pages

What do we offer?
This is an unpaid position, but we offer performance-based bonuses and to cover your expenses for calls and transportation. You will be a member of an international entrepreneurial team and part of a growing network of country and city leaders around the world. This position can be counted as an internship for students.

The right candidate:
• Inspires action through words
• Is fastidious in their use of proper American English spelling, syntax, and grammar
• Enjoys writing and editing in English and has extensive experience doing so
• Is reliable, independent, resourceful, and creative, creative, creative!
• Is excited to work and learn in a startup environment
• Has knowledge of and interest in foreign languages and cultures
• Copywriting/editing experience is a plus
• Spanish/English translation experience is a plus

What will you do?
• Compose and edit tour itineraries for host organizations all over the world
• Come up with SEO-optimized sharp and attractive titles and tour highlights
• Assist with language in our applications for funding opportunities and other written work
• Generate and utilize existing content to spread our message on various social media outlets
