Are you passionate about the social aspects of sustainable tourism and development? Are you innovative? Do you love creating things with your bare hands? Join us! We are an international group of development professionals building the world’s first online platform for tours that benefit communities. We are looking for a London-based self-starter who is bright and energetic to join our team.

The right candidate:
• Is excited about innovation in the global social sector
• Is familiar with the London nonprofit/NGO sector and wants to get to know it even better
• Is flexible, resourceful, and enthusiastic about being part of an entrepreneurial team
• Sees the potential in nonprofit visits to (1) enhance local economic and social development and (2) create a better informed public discussion about the world’s most pressing needs
• Has good writing and communication skills in English
• Experience with social media is a plus

What will you do?
• Be our representative in London
• Find and visit community-based and nonprofit organizations in London and the UK that can offer visits to the general public, introducing and onboarding them to Visit.org and offering guidance and support in developing experiences when needed
• Offer support if needed to confirm bookings

Time commitment is flexible depending on candidate capacity. Start ASAP.

Visit.org is a NYC-based for-profit travel startup and the world’s leading platform for social impact travel experiences. 100% of hosts' revenue is invested back into the local community. We are looking for a brilliant, motivated video production intern to join our team in NYC.

The right candidate:
• Has experience in designing email campaigns (Basic HTML & CSS knowledge required)
• Is a fluent Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign user
• Has a good attention to detail
• Has a creative sense of humor
• Is reliable, independent, and resourceful
• Understands and has a strong desire to work in a startup environment
• Knowledge of foreign languages and cultures is a plus

What will you do?
• Design email campaigns based on existing elements or from scratch
• Create impactful visuals to promote Visit.org on social media
• Initiate and innovate! We encourage ideas and suggestions and the opportunity to grow within our company

What do we offer?
This internship is unpaid. We highly encourage candidates who can receive academic credit to apply. You will increase your knowledge of the global tech & social good sector and gain substantial, easily demonstrable experience in your areas of interest. Experts in the industry will guide your work. We work at a fun co-working space in NYC.

Timeline & Commitment
Begin in the summer and commit to at least 2 months full or part-time, depending on capacity. Interns can work at our office in the Columbia StartUp Lab in Soho.

Join us!
Visit.org is a NYC-based for-profit travel startup and the world’s leading platform for social impact travel experiences. 100% of hosts' revenue is invested back into the local community. We are looking for a brilliant, motivated Ruby on Rails intern to join our team in NYC.

The right candidate has:
• At least 6 months experiences working with Ruby on Rails
• A good understanding of slim/haml, bootstrap, and coffeescript
• A solid understanding of basic relational database design & OOP
• Experience with rspec and CI a plus

What will you do?
• Help build new features for our website
• Help to maintain the website and internal system
• Monitor and improve website performance
• Work with the QA team to ensure full test coverage of the website

What do we offer?
This internship is unpaid. We highly encourage candidates who can receive academic credit to apply. • You will be our representative in Berlin
• Find and visit community-based and nonprofit organizations in Berlin that offer visits to the general public, introducing them and onboarding them to Visit.org, following up and offering them guidance and support to develop some exciting experiences, if needed.
• Offer support if needed to confirm bookings
