Tour Description

Day 1:
The organization will arrange travel to the City-State of Ayinonvi from Cotonou. So, prepare to explore Beninese life at the ethnographic museum of Adandé and learn more about the celebration of traditional rituals during birth, initiation, marriage and death. Then, visit an Eco farm and learn about eco-friendly agricultural techniques used by the farmers to produce 100% organic whole food in a preserved nature. At night, have a blast at Ouadada, a city cultural hotspot, and connect with local artists who’ll be proud to show you their art works!

Day 2:
Enjoy the serenity of the day as you walk through the botanical garden of Porto Novo, which was the former Mito Migan sacred forest. Immerse yourself in its biodiversity – between sweet smelling and medicinal plants, wild animals, and more! Discover the garden’s well-kept secrets including art portraying the Fâ, a divinatory science that reveals your destiny. In the afternoon, get a taste of Beninese contemporary art at the Zinsou Foundation. Depart Ayinonvi having learned about the diverse and exciting cultural history of the locals!
