Become immersed in Argentine culture spending 3 days with a host family. Learn about their daily chores and activities and taste the delicious traditional foods personally prepared by them. In this one of a kind experience, enjoy the following:
Day 1: Delicious welcome breakfast prepared by your local hosts. Discover their traditional lifestyle and enjoy an introductory workshop about horseback riding safety practices. Ride for about 3 hours through the surrounding beautiful landscapes up to the viewpoint and admire the “Las Buitreras” hill and the condors flying around. Upon return, enjoy a home cooked lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon engaging in traditional activities, leisure walks around the river, resting and enjoying home cooked snacks. As night falls, join the family in the cabin for dinner.
Day 2: Adventure into a second day of horseback riding through different paths around the river and through the woods for approximately 6 hours. Explore the different animals inhabiting the area as the trail ends in the Mallin Redondo where lunch is served. Wander through different sights and streams on the way back to the cabin. Enjoy another delicious snack, rest and enjoy the family’s grounds and views. Savor one last traditional dinner as the family prepares a typical asado (BBQ).
Day 3: After enjoying breakfast, hike for about 2-3 hours with the local family and admire breathtaking views. Learn about the history of their land and town. Assist the hosts in the preparation of the last day’s lunch. After resting, learn more in-depth about their daily chores and activities in their rural lifestyle. Before ending this experience, choose to have a snack by the river or take a dip in the river to refresh before heading back.
