Begin your Salta adventure at 8:00 am when you meet your guide at your hotel in Cafayate village. Following the morning meet-up, you will take a local taxi to the Corralito community where you will be introduced to the family that will be hosting you for the remainder of the tour. Then, visit the local farm tended to by your family and try your hand at preparing regional cuisine and farming work. Activities will include tending to crops including peppers that will be used for paprika, onions and seeds used for spices like cumin. After your you’ve gained some new farming knowledge, enjoy a traditional asado lunch with your family complete with savory grilled vegetables. Later, tap into your arts skills as you make your own pottery souvenir with local adobe. After you’ve finished your piece of pottery, say goodbye to your host family and catch a ride back to your hotel in Cafayate.
