After you get to Villa Pardo by bus, car, or private ride from Buenos Aires, you will walk through the village and visit the Adolfo Bio y Casares Library and Museum, both located in the old train station. There, you can also visit the village’s Community Centre, a place known for celebration events. Then, you’ll get a experience the local goods, from shopping artisan crafts, to tasting gourmet cheeses, salamis, and longanizas.
Depending on the availability, you’ll then have the choice to participate in one of these four hands-on activities:
- Natural construction (earth compressed blocks, decorative plaster, natural painting)
- Sustainability (kitchen construction or solar cooker)
- Ecology / Environment (natural agriculture and organic orchard)
- Permaculture / recycling (permaculture introduction, eco-blocks).
The activity will be accompanied by a snack, and you’ll end your day with a dinner under the open sky and stars.
The next morning, you’ll get some breakfast and head back to Buenos Aires on your own.
