During this 8-hour tour, you will the stunning town of Berat, which sits under the majestic Mount Tomorri. Berat is one of the best-preserved Ottoman cities in the Balkans. It is known as the birthplace of Onufri, the renowned painter. Your tour will take you to a beautiful medieval castle district complete with ancient churches and mosques, a lively lower town consisting of grand old houses draped on steep hillsides, an old stone bridge, and a great museum. You’ll see how two parts of the city, Muslim and Catholic, make for a great example of religious tolerance in Berat and all over Albania.
